Steve Mayer , General Manager
Steve, the General Manager for Elithion has 20 years of management and engineering experience in start-ups and large corporations across industries that include electric and hybrid vehicles, suspension design, crash testing, automotive validation testing, telecom systems and energy storage systems.
Steve's most recent position before joining Elithion was managing a team of engineers doing advanced lithium battery design and development of power electronics systems to support electric vehicle, telecom and data center customers.
Steve has held management positions which include Battery Manager at Eetrex, a division of Methode Electronics, Engineering Manager at TMI a large automotive supplier and Advanced Applications Manager at Rosen Entertainment. Prior to his management positions, Steve held senior mechanical engineering positions and has patents for a wide range of products including the design of a full suspension bicycle for Schwinn/Scott Bicycles and Niketown's shoe delivery system.
Steve holds a Master of Engineering Management (MEM) BYU, Provo, UT and also received a B.S., Mechanical Engineering BYU, Provo, UT.
Steve enjoys camping, mountain biking, paddle boarding, snowboarding or anything else that gives him an excuse to be outdoors enjoying the Rocky Mountains.

Davide Andrea, Founder, CTO
Davide Andrea is internationally recognized as one of the leading experts in Li-ion battery management technology.
He is the author of the book "Battery Management Systems for Large Lithium-Ion Battery Packs , which was published Sep 30th 2010,
He is a forensic expert in Li-ion battery incidents, and an expert witness in matters of Li-ion technology.
He founded Elithion in August 2008 with the goal of making his Lithium Ion Battery Management System technology available to an industry searching for Li-Ion BMS solutions.
He brings to Elithion an unique ability to develop all aspects of BMS and battery products in a rapid and effective manner.
Previously, he co-founded Hybrids Plus, where, using his BMS technology, he developed Prius and Escape PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid) conversions.
There, he also developed the Inverger™, a bidirectional Charger / Inverter for V2G (Vehicle To Grid) applications.
Previously, he offered electronic consulting services through DAVIDE, DBA.
He has 25 years experience in electronics design, and had been in the Li-Ion Battery Management System field since 2004.
He holds a BS is Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (University of Colorado, 1982).

Greg Lundie, Technical operations manager
Greg Lundie is a multi-disciplinary engineer with more than 15 years of experience developing new products as well as technical customer support and writing quotes.
Previously, he was a product Engineer for LCD Panels at Micron Technology Inc, / Displaytech, Inc. for 13 years.
He has extensive expertise with thin film coatings and liquid crystal display manufacturing.
He has worked in and maintained class 100, 1000 and 10,000 cleanrooms, and has been a technical trainer for technicians and engineers.
He has been involved in troubleshooting and process verification with multi-national teams, including on-site diagnosis in the US, Japan and China.
He has a B.A. in Physics from the Hope College in Holland, Michigan.

Joan Marwitz, Strategy development and marketing
Joan is a director of Espy Marketing, a denver based marketing consulting company.
With over 25 years of marketing experience in both the private and nonprofit sectors, Joan has excelled in growing organizations' client base while improving their community presence.
She has in-depth experience in strategic market planning and communications, and is a skilled professional in all aspects of the marketing mix, working with Fortune 500 and local nonprofit organizations.
Joan's industry experience includes all facets of the telecommunications business community; a Fortune 500 manufacturer, a wireless service provider several software and solutions providers. She has worked with leading firms such as Motorola and T-Mobile. As one of the first 50 employees at T-Mobile, Joan worked on the start up and market entry of launching a new, digital wireless service into five North American regions.
Prior to working with Espy, Joan was a managing partner at Market Advisory Partners, and spent 7 years as the Director of Communications & Outreach and Chief Development Officer at Denver Options, one of the largest nonprofit organizations in Denver. In her first three years the client base of their Early Intervention program more than tripled in size and the amount of private funding for their Veterans with Traumatic Brain Injury program subsequently increased through grants, corporate sponsorships and large individual donations.
Joan holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Northern Illinois University and a MBA from Loyola University of Chicago, IL.

Elithion is blessed by the support of an effective Board of Advisers, composed of capable and experienced leaders in the industry.
The board meets several times a year to receive reports from the Elithion staff, and to advise it on larger management issues.

David Brunel
David Brunel is a serial entrepreneur and angel investor with 25 years of experience building companies in enterprise software and more recently in molecular diagnostics and personalized medicine. He is currently CEO of Biodesix, Inc. a company focused on providing physicians the tools to personalize patient care.
He is also the Chairman of Xyleme, Inc. the leader in standards-based learning solutions that enable single-source publishing and personalized delivery of training content and Anark, Incorporated, providing the platform for effective utilization of 3D CAD data and manufacturing information throughout the enterprise, supply chain, and after-market support.

Eben Johnson
Eben is President and Founder of Colorado Technology Consulting, on the faculty of the Lockheed Martin Engineering Management Program, College of Engineering and Applied Science, University of Colorado, Boulder and a sales and marketing leader for Boulder cleantech start-ups.
His experience includes management positions for both start-ups and large corporations across industries that include electric and hybrid vehicles, hydrogen fuel cells, internal combustion engines, waste-to-energy, medical devices and tactical combat communications systems.

Howie Solow
In addition to prior work experience, Howie has thirty five years of comprehensive experience in researching, specifying and designing human performance testing, diagnostic, rehabilitation and fitness equipment.
His experience includes 32 years of management of product/program development and manufacturing in both the for-and-not-for-profit sectors as well as three years as an independent consultant/contractor. Howie has worked in four start-up operations one of which grew to $75 million in sales during his tenure. He has participated in all facets of business from engineering, manufacturing and marketing to sales and after sales support. He founded and is the Board Chair and President of a nonprofit center for the promulgation of traditional Chinese cultural arts.

Norman Vickers
Norman Vickers is an experienced cleantech executive with a strong track record in high-tech product and software development. He is currently CEO of Precision Wind, developing weather forecasting solutions for the wind industry.
Norman spent a year as Entrepreneur in Residence at Infield Capital, helping develop leading companies in the transportation space. Prior to Infield, Norman was the President of Nilar, an advanced battery technology startup. Norman has 20 years of leadership experience at EDS developing manufacturing and supply chain systems for GM, Saab Automobile and SKF.

Ammon Balaster
Ammon was the Vice President of Technology at Eetrex Inc / Hybrids Plus, where he developed and managed the engineering and manufacturing systems for design and development of on-board EV battery chargers, Vehicle-To-Grid (V2G) inverter-chargers and high-voltage Lithium traction battery systems.
His previous positions include the program management consultant at Strategic Networks, Inc., where he developed solutions and key product strategies for high tech companies, the Vice President of Business Development for Colorado MEDTech, Inc., and the Vice President & Founder of RELA, where he developed this engineering company into one of the nation's leading technology product contract development and manufacturing companies.
